The Women’s Council of Realtors Dayton Network is partnering with local non-profit Shoes 4 the Shoeless this year. As a part of that partnership, we are going to ask our members and our wonderful Strategic Partners to place collection boxes at their offices where their employees and clients may drop off donations of socks. We are going to also accept cash donations via our local website (wcrdayton.org) for those who do not want to shop; we’ll do that for you with your generous donations.
Collection timeline: November 13 – December 3.
How can you help?
1 – If your office has a box to use for the collection, we can email you signage for the box.
2 – If your office does not have a box, we will supply you with one.
3 – If your collection box is filling up, just let either Melinda Reid of First American Home Warranty know ([email protected]) or Michael Martin of Kamela & Company Realty know ([email protected]) and we will make arrangements to pick up the socks you have collected. We are happy to make multiple runs!
By Wednesday, Nov 11 will you:
1 – Let Melinda Reid or Michael Martin (email addresses above) know if you are willing to place a box at your location to collect socks and promote the collection to your employees and customers.
2- Go To wcrdayton.org, click on CALENDAR. This will bring up our events calendar by month. Look at December 3 and you will see the sock collection project. Click on that info and you will be taken to detail info about the event as well as a place to sign up for the Dec 3 holiday event where all the socks will be.
You can also choose to donate dollars if you don’t want to shop for socks and we’ll shop for you. We can also purchase socks in bulk. (Shoes 4 the Shoeless will distribute the socks with their shoe distribution and can use socks of all sizes, all ages, all genders; any color and type!)
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
There are 3 levels of Sponsorship: $300 – GOLD; $200 – SILVER and $100 – BRONZE. (100% of Sponsorship dollars will go to purchase socks)
Sponsors may be Realtor members or Strategic Partners.
GOLD Receives: Promotion on WCRDAYTON website, Signage at Dec 3 Christmas event, Time to speak at Dec 3 Christmas Event
SILVER Receives: Promotion on WCRDAYTON website, Signage at Dec 3 Christmas event
BRONZE Receives: Promotion on WCRDAYTON webiste
